Hives, also known as Urticaria , is an outbreak of swollen, pale red bumps or plaques (wheals) on the skin that appear suddenly either as a result of the body's reaction to certain allergens or for unknown reasons. Today, We'll talk about how to cure hives as the method that turned out to be the most effective I've tried out.
Hives usually cause itching, but may also burn or sting. They can appear anywhere on the body, including the face, lips, tongue, throat, or ears. Hives vary in size (from a pencil eraser to a dinner plate), and may join together to form larger areas known as plaques. They can last for hours, or up to one day before fading.
What Causes Hives and Angioedema?
Well, that's not the question, the question is how will I cure hive. Allergic hives and angioedema form when, in response to histamine, blood plasma leaks out of small blood vessels in the skin. Histamine is a chemical released from specialized cells along the skin's blood vessels. Allergic reactions, chemicals in certain foods, insect stings, sunlight exposure, or medications can all cause histamine release. It's often impossible to find out exactly why hives have formed.
There are several different types of hives, including:
Acute urticaria: Hives lasting less than six weeks. The most common causes are certain foods, medications, or infections. Insect bites and internal disease may also be responsible.
The most common foods that cause hives are nuts, chocolate, fish, tomatoes, eggs, fresh berries, and milk. Fresh foods cause hives more often than cooked foods. Certain food additives and preservatives may also be to blame.
Chronic urticaria and angioedema: Hives lasting more than six weeks. The cause of this type of hives is usually more difficult to identify than those causing acute urticaria. For most people with chronic urticaria, the cause is impossible to determine. In some cases, though, the cause may be thyroid disease, hepatitis, infection, or cancer.
Physical urticaria: Hives caused by direct physical stimulation of the skin -- for example, cold, heat, sun exposure, vibration, pressure, sweating, and exercise.

How to cure hives
Let’s talk about the best part of this article — how to cure hives. My journey of curing hives started from when I adapt and use some natural treatment I got online.
1. Address Allergies: First of all, you need to check yourself by looking back in time to realize what might have caused the hives in the first place and as soon as you find it, you stay far away from it. It could be caused by some food you're eating or by a pet you have.
2. Be Patient and Don’t Irritate: treatment may not be needed if hives are mild. If you wait a short time, they can disappear on their own without any intervention. If you want to do something to help them go away faster and to reduce itching and swelling, make sure that you do not take any hot baths or showers while you have hives. Also, avoid wearing any tight-fitting clothing because this can further irritate the area where you have hives. (14) This all applies to babies or toddlers with hives as well. Make sure you don’t bathe a child with hives in water that is too hot and keep their clothing loose-fitting and breathable.
3. Calm the Inflammation
To calm hives and help them vanish that much quicker, make sure you’re not using any products on your body that will only make the inflammation and itching worse. You don’t want to be using anything harsh on your body right now. This includes soaps and other body care products, as well as the detergent you use on your clothing.
